Known as the Hollow Mountain, Ben Cruachan rises to 1,126 metres as the highest point in Argyll, its granite ridges forming the dramatic Cruachan Horseshoe between Loch Etive and Loch Awe. The views from the summit stretch west to the sea and islands beyond Taynuilt, a panorama that few Munros can match. A mountain of tremendous character and presence.
