This is one of my favourite corners of Scotland, perhaps because it brings together so many of the things I look for in a landscape. Mountains, lochs and woodland all sit naturally alongside one another here, each giving something to the view without overwhelming the rest. When those elements come together in the right conditions, as they did on this autumn evening, I don't think there's much that can beat it.
