Loch Dochard lies in a wonderfully secluded position on the southern side of the Black Mount, surrounded by mountains on almost every side. Snow showers were passing through throughout the day, repeatedly hiding the surrounding summits before revealing them again. For a brief spell the cloud lifted enough for some late light to break through, catching the snow-covered slopes and bringing a little colour to the otherwise cold winter landscape.
