For a short time in February 2026, deep snow covered much of Scotland. From the summit of Ben Lawers, the setting sun cast its last light across the Southern Highlands, with Beinn Ghlas (1,103m) and Meall nan Tarmachan (1,044m) close by and the distinctive shape of Ben More (1,174m) rising beyond.
