Glen Falloch

The Photograph

Glen Falloch

Hasselblad X2D 45mm

Looking across Glen Falloch towards the mountains surrounding Crianlarich from Ben Oss, this photograph became something of a race against the weather. As the day progressed, a strong northerly wind drove a cold front south, bringing snow and cloud with it. I watched the mountains to the north gradually disappear as the cloud began to cap the summits before eventually enveloping the hills around me. Fortunately, the Crianlarich mountains remained clear just long enough for the late afternoon light to find them before the front finally arrived.
