From many angles the scree covered slopes of Glamaig could easily be mistaken for a long extinct volcano. At 2543 ft (775m) this granite cone is one of only two Corbetts on Skye and forms the Northern end of the Red Cuillin. A fleeting break in the omnipresent cloud bank allowed me to capture the last rays of the Suns light before disappearing over the horizon.
