Beinn nan Aighenan and Ben Cruachan

This evening will remain long in my memory. The conditions for mountain photography were close to perfect, but being in the right place for them was largely down to luck. Cloud was building and drifting across the surrounding mountains, repeatedly shutting out the light, while the small area around me somehow remained clear. For once, everything came together exactly where I happened to be standing. I've had more than my fair share of evenings when the opposite has happened, so this one made up for a few of them.
