Ben More, Stob Binnein and Cruach Ardrain

During the first real cold spell of the winter I headed up Ben Challum, with unsettled weather leaving cloud lingering around many of the surrounding summits. As sunset approached, the last of the light broke through across the upper slopes while Ben More, Stob Binnein and Cruach Ardrain remained largely in shadow beyond. About five minutes after taking this photograph I realised I'd left my headtorch behind. What should have been a leisurely descent therefore became a rather hurried one, as I tried to lose as much height as possible before the remaining daylight disappeared.
